Clomid

Clomid is used for treating female infertility.

Clomid Description

Clomid is an oral tablet. It is a non-steroidal medicine.

Clomid has been used to induce ovulation for more that thirty years and is often the first fertility drug that couples come in contact with. It is (relatively) inexpensive as fertility drugs go, it is easily taken (orally rather than by injection) and it is the first line drug used for ovulation induction in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and other ovulatory disorders. Clomiphene Citrate is capable of reacting with all of the tissues in the body that have estrogen receptors. These tissues include hypothalamus, pituitary, ovary, endometrium, vagina and cervix. Clomid influences the way that the four hormones required for ovulation, GnRH, FSH, LH and estradiol, relate and interrelate. You can buy clomid online on HelpingHand just in a few clicks!

In essence it appears that Clomid fools the body into believing that the estrogen level is low. This altered feedback information causes the hypothalamus (an area of the brain) to make and release more gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) which in turn causes the pituitary to make and release more FSH and LH. More follicle stimulating hormone and more luteinizing hormone should result in the release of one or more mature eggs – ovulation.

Once ovulating, most pregnancies occur in the first 6 cycles of treatment. Clomid is said to be able to induce ovulation in as much as 85% of the women who use it, though only half of those will actually become pregnant. Most authorities agree that continuing for more than 6 ovulatory cycles in not likely to increase the chances of success. Patients most likely to achieve success with clomiphene therapy include those with: * polycystic ovary syndrome * amenorrhea-galactorrhea syndrome * psychogenicamenorrhea * post-oral-contraceptive amenorrhea * certain cases of secondary amenorrhea of undetermined etiology.

The Difference Between US and European Clomid

Clomid on IVFPharmacy is made by Teva Pharmaceuticals. The drug composition is exactly the same as Clomid in the US but the packaging may vary slightly.

Clomid 50mg is available in boxes of 5, 8, 10 and 15 tablets.

Clomid (Clomifene) stimulates an increase in the amount of hormones that support the growth and release of a mature egg (ovulation). This medication should only be used in women who’s ovaries produce eggs naturally. If you have pituitary or ovarian failure and cannot make eggs properly then you should not use Clomid, unless your doctor has explicitly expressed that it is OK in your circumstance. It is recommended not to use Clomid continually for more than 6 cycles. For the best results your docotr might ask you to record  your body temperature, perform ovulation tests and/or have sex at a specific time.

How it acts?

Female impotency, also known as sexual arousal disorder, is a common disorder wherein a female is unable to get aroused even after sexual foreplay. This eventually makes her lose interest in making love. Along with this issue, she often experience painful coition and difficult orgasm. There are several factors associated with sexual arousal disorder, such as physical and psychological factors. But the main reason is poor flow of blood to the female reproductive system.

Ladygra (Sildenafil Citrate) looks after supplying blood to the female genital region with the help of its pharmacological action. After oral administration, Ladygra dissolves in the bloodstream to negate the function of a naturally secreting enzyme – Phosphodiesterase type five (PDE5). PDE5 inhibition permits the body to release a strong chemical – nitric oxide that increases the blood flow by dilating arteries and relaxing muscles. This way abundant amount of blood is supplied to the female reproductive organs. Simultaneously, females secrete natural oil that acts as a lubricant during intercourse.

Endometriosis: Initial daily dosage of 5 mg Aygestin (norethindrone) for two weeks. Dosage should be increased by 2.5 mg per day every two weeks until 15 mg per day of Aygestin (norethindrone) is reached. Therapy may be held at this level for six to nine months or until annoying breakthrough bleeding demands temporary termination.

STORAGE

Store Aygestin in a tightly closed container at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Aygestin out of the reach of children and away from pets.
